DANGEROUS - DO NOT INSTALL! This software completely ruined a healthy Mac running Sierra. I installed it, but didn't like that it had hidden daemons running. So I uninstalled, but it never completed. Now I can't even shut down my Mac because 'Other installations aren't complete' and I can't install or uninstall this software. This is the worst problem I've had in 25 years of using Macs.

For the time being, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac is only a removal tool. It will scan for, and remove adware, PUPs, and various types of malware, and it will do it all for free if you're a home user.

With the exception of MacKeeper, this is the worst review I've ever written for Mac software. I used to use this before the crazy installer. It ruined all of my Little Snitch rules, and I still haven't figured out what else.
